A riverside walk
In under an hour, you can take this walk to get a flavour of what lies along the River Thames. Mixing some of London’s major tourist attractions with more local features, you will have the chance to see how the area of Bermondsey connects to a tourist’s view of London. Heading across the local Bermondsey Spa Gardens and past the Design Museum, walk along the Thames and take in the sites of Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and City Hall. Then head back and off the tourist trail, to visit one of the more local landmarks, the gardens of St Mary Magdalene Church.
