Loxley Park and Mill Dam

Take this walk along the River Loxley and experience a beautiful open space that is so close to urban Sheffield. Follow the route and explore this waterway with its surrounding grass and woodland. You can also visit the Mill Dam, now a haven for wildlife and fish, which dates back to the 17 Century and the establishment of the steel and iron forging mills along this fast flowing river. The full route will take you over an hour but a short cut is available.
