Historic Whitechapel
This is a pleasant walk of under an hour through Whitechapel. This walk will introduce you to some of the rich and diverse history and culture of the area. The walk takes you along the wide south-side pavements of the bustling Whitechapel Road past the Royal London Hospital, the East London Mosque and the Bell Foundry to Altab Ali Park and the Whitechapel Gallery. The return is through back streets, associated with Jack the Ripper, and a further park. See the separate information sheet which gives further details.
