Hackney Downs
This is a pleasant walk of under an hour through Hackney. This walk goes through Shacklewell, once a small village, to the Hackney Downs. This route highlights how much architecture has changed in three centuries. This walk passes the lovely Hackney Downs which contains various trim trail stations and a children’s playground and a circular paved area with seats. Here you may like to rest, play or explore further, before starting the return journey. This walk also passes St Mark’s Church the largest parish church in London, if not in England.
