Five Weirs Walk
This is a lovely walk of under an hour following the Five Weirs Walk. This urban walk takes you through the East End of Sheffield, past scenes of Sheffield’s history. Throughout the walk there are various information boards telling you about the history of the buildings, and various wildlife that can be seen. The river offers a variety of wildlife from birds to fish. There are Victorian buildings and scenes of the city’s industrial past such as old schools, mills, factories, some contemporary sculptures and of course five weirs.
