Donkeys!

This is a walk of just over one mile, and takes half an hour to complete.  This walk invites you to discover the green open spaces surrounding Groton Lower reservoir, including Debdale Park Abbey Hey and Gorton House.  This walks offers lovely views of the reservoir, the formal flower bed and the Community Orchard.  On a clear day the Pennines are visible.  This walk takes you over the dam to the Donkey Sanctuary, then down the old Canal, past the Water Sports Centre and back into the park and Debdale House.
