Clocktowers, gunmakers and artists

Discover the area of Selly Oak and see some of the area’s landmarks, in a walk that will take you under an hour. Follow this route as it takes you along the Birmingham Canal, from which you can see the University’s clock tower, before heading back across the University’s campus past the large bronze sculpture that honours the famous scientist Michael Faraday.  Finally investigate some of the areas quieter pathways and recreation grounds and see the historic Westley Richards & Co. Gunmakers shop.
