Ardwick Green
This is a walk of just over two miles and takes less than an hour to complete. This walk includes the sights of Sackville Gardens, the University of Manchester Campus and Ardwick Green Park. This park used to be a quiet hamlet on the outskirts of Manchester and it is now a calm oasis in this busy city. This walk offers scenic views of the park and St Thomas’s Church, whilst offering a play area for those with young children wishing to take a short rest. The final leg of the walk is past the BBC building and the River Medlock.
