Akers Trust & Grand Union Canal
This is an enjoyable walk of under an hour through the Greet area. This walk visits the Akers Trust and the land behind it. Part of the land is occupied by various outdoor activities such as canoeing and dry-slope skiing, while the rest is crossed by railways, a canal and the River Cole. There is an interesting weir on the River Cole which can be seen in this walk. This area is completely wild with ponds, swamps, woodland and deep cuttings. This is an interesting and scenic area and you can spend hours in exploration
