If you don’t live in one of our five local project areas you can still enjoy the benefits of walking. To get you started we have our Get Walking pack, which is available to everyone resident in England.

There are also many programmes of led walks you can join throughout the country, for example walking with your local Ramblers group or health walks scheme. You can find out more by clicking on the ‘Other Programmes’ option below.

The best way to find out more about your local area is to head out for a walk. There are many places to find walking routes that are close to your home, our favourites can be found in the ‘Where to Walk’ section.
