Partner Opportunities
Let’s get together!
We are keen to work with you!
Successful partnership-working is vital to Get Walking Keep Walking. And we are keen to work with a wide range of organisations who share our aims of promoting better health and social well-being through activity within the community.
Who are you?
You may be involved with a
- Community or educational group
- Charity
- Voluntary organisation
- Health or well-being project
Or, you might be from an organisation and are responsible for its employees’ well-being.
Ideally, you’re based in or near one of the Get Walking areas: Birmingham, East London, South London, Manchester, Sheffield
Why team up with us?
We promote and encourage walking within urban areas, which brings both health and social benefits. People who walk develop self-esteem, confidence, friendships, a sense of fun, a greater local knowledge and play a more active role in their community.
Get Walking is targeted in particular at:
- Inactive people
- People in deprived areas lacking affordable exercise
- People from black and minority ethnic communities
- Families, children and young people
- People with mental health problems
What we can offer you

In addition
