Come and Join us on Summer Walks


The following walks are open to everyone. The sessions take place over 4 weeks – starting with a 30 minute walk and building up to 1 hour by the end of the programme – ideal to get you started with walking. You are welcome however to just attend one or two sessions if you can’t make them all. All participants will receive a free step counter and one of our walking packs. Accompanied children are also welcome.

Beighton: The last 2 walks are on Monday 19th and 26th July meeting at 7pm at Beighton Lifestyle centre

Psalter Lane: The last 2 walks are on Wednesday 21st and 28th July meeting at 7pm at the Salvation Army building, Psalter Lane.

Gleadless TownEnd – The last 2 walks are on Thursday 22nd and 29th July meeting at 7pm in the Car Park by Stonecroft Medical Centre (Gleadless Road opposite Sainsburys).

Tinsley Men’s Group – Starting on Tuesday 27th July at 1pm from Tinsley Green Cafe just off Bawtry Road. Other dates are the 3, 10 and 17 August.

Tinsley Women Only Walks – Starting on Wednesday 28th July at 9.30am from Tinsley Green Cafe just off Bawtry Road. Other dates are 4,11 and 18 August.

Broomhall Women Only Walks: Starting at 10am from the Broomhall centre on Thursday 29th July, 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th August.

Middlewood Walkers: Starting on Friday 6th August meeting at 1pm at the Pavilion, Winn Grove, Winn Gardens. Other dates are 13th, 20th and 27th August.
