Review of 2009

Link to article

2009 was a really successful year for the project in Sheffield. We had over 2000 DIY registrations, took hundreds of people out on walks across the city and discovered some brilliant and really interesting new places to walk in.

We have launched our Children Materials, worked in partnership with Sheffield MIND and led the ‘Walk a Mile for Mental’ around the city centre and provided some training walks for participants of the ‘Weston Park 5k Walk as One event’.

There are too many great programmes and events that have gone on in the last 12 months to list here but we’d like to say thanks to everyone involved in the working with the project and we look forward to working with you again in 2010.
