Breaking down the barriers to walking: help us make walking easier for all.

We know that walking has changed your lives, but it’s time to let others know too! So, help us spread the word – through the Ramblers campaign – that walking is important for health, well-being and the environment – both now and in the future.

Tell your election candidates how passionate you are about walking, and what improvements could make travelling on foot even more enjoyable and safe.  For example, you may want to see more city paths, better crossings or greater priority given to walkers. Elected MPs really can help change these things, so we need them to understand how vital these issues are.

All you need to do is ask your candidates to sign up to the Ramblers General Election manifesto by following this link: http://tinyurl.com/yzbkohg. Or you can find out more about our Election Campaign here: www.ramblers.org.uk/Campaigns+Policy/Election10.
