Get Walking Keep Walking forms part of the Active Travel Consortium (ATC). ATC is delivering a £30 million portfolio of projects aimed at helping people all over England change their travel habits and improve their health, supporting them to enjoy walking and cycling as part of their everyday lives.

The projects are supported by £20 million from the Big Lottery Fund’s Well-being programme and are being delivered by 11 health, transport and environmental groups working together and branded as Travel Actively. Leading an active lifestyle, by including walking and cycling as part of our daily routine, has a huge part to play in tackling the rise in obesity. Travel Actively will help people who would not usually walk or cycle to make their journeys to school, work and in their local areas on foot or bike.
