A Story of Walking Success
This Summer’s newsletter competition winner, Mu Tang from London, shares a special Get Walking Keep Walking story…
“I have been walking with Get Walking Keep Walking since 28th April 2010, which makes it my three-month anniversary. I have always enjoyed walking, but then I learnt about Get Walking Keep Walking, and realised the real enjoyment I could get out of walking, alongside knowing that there are others like me, who walk every day to keep fit. I also have a blog, where I update my daily walking details amongst other posts, which has attracted many followers. In fact, I have ten new friends out there who are walking with me, whom I introduced to the scheme. I would also much love to translate and promote this in China, seeing the potential in attracting mass followers. Having amassed 755158 steps and 604.13 kilometres over every single day for the last three months, my own personal aim is to walk the same distance around the world, all 40,076 kilometres of it. I’m loving it!”
Thanks to Mu for this great story. Check out the Autumn newsletter for details of Autumn’s competition and you could be a winner too!
