Walking Out 2010
Get Walking Sheffield are pleased to be hosting walks as part of the Sheffield Ramblers’ Walking Out Programme. These 2-3hr walks are ideal for people who have completed Get Walking Keep Walking programmes and are looking at extending the walks that they do and also meeting lots of new like minded people.
All these walks start at 10am from the ‘Meeting Point’ at Sheffield Bus Interchange.
The Tuesday Walks that are taking place up to the end of the year are :
Tuesday September 21st
Upperthorpe to Hillsborough
A 2hr linear walk through Upperthorpe Parks and Hillsborough Park to the hidden cemetery behind the Leisure Centre.
Tuesday October 12th
Sheffield Interchange to Meadowhall
A 2 hr linear walk from Sheffield Interchange along the canal from Victoria Quays to Meadowhall.
Tuesday November 23rd
Over to Sharrow
A 2 hr linear walk from Sheffield Interchange to Sharrow, passing the Town Hall and Peace Gardens and around the edge of the city centre into Sharrow taking in local parks and a local cemetery.
