Get Walking Keep Walking are organising several walks and events as part of Walk Sheffield, a festival of organised walks around the city that you can join in with for free.

The Launch of Walk Sheffield – Fri 14 May,
Meet 10.30am at Manor Lodge on Manor Lane for a walk along the Norfolk Heritage Trail

Weston Park Family Treasure Hunt – Sat 15 May:
From 1pm – 3pm, come and join the fun to hunt for treasure and clues and discover Weston Park. Sign up for a free walking pack and step counter.

Botanical Gardens Walk – Tuesday 18th May
A short walk around the Botanical Gardens. Meet at the Clarkehouse Rd entrance at 10am.

Sharrow Family Treasure Hunt – Sat 22 May:
Another fun family treasure hunt from 1pm – 3pm – this time exploring Mount Pleasant Park in Sharrow.

To obtain a leaflet of all 25 walks in the Walk Sheffield Festival email travelplans@sheffield.gov.uk or call 0114 205 3073. The walk details will have basic information, e.g. where and when, and hints about the type of walk it will be, e.g. footwear needed and steepness of any slopes. In each case there is a walk leader that you will be able to contact to find out more.
