Great Pics from Get Walking Day Birmingham 2010

With a little help from the the Shire Country Park Rangers and Sarehole Mill again this year, Get Walking Day was a great success with the Birmingham Get Walking Team. With all the fun activities to be had on the day such as ‘pond’ dipping, worm digging, smoothie bike – ing, you’d think we’d have forgotten about the walking. Well, you would be wrong. A 50 strong crowd of walkers took to the park and streets of the surrounding area and what a beautiful walk we had! Lilac was in full bloom, kids were at full speed ahead and everyone really enjoyed the sunshine and the river. Here are some fantastic pictures taken on the day to share.
